Tamer is one of a handful of Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists practicing in New South Wales and Australia.  

The award of the “Specialist” title in physiotherapy represents the highest national and international clinical title given to a physiotherapist. 

Tamer is a clinician, teacher, and researcher with affiliations at both the university of New South Wales and the University of Sydney, Australia. 
He is currently completing his PhD studies on novel operative and non-operative treatments for chronic spinal disorders. 

Tamer has presented his research at numerous national and international prestigious spinal societies and has received awards for best presentation for some of his cutting edge-work. 

Tamer is actively involved within the Australian Physiotherapy Association with numerous appointments as Branch Councillor, grant reviewer, professional development committee member and post-graduate course review committee to name a few. 

Tamer’s current clinical interests relate to the management of movement related spinal disorders using biopsychosocial learning-based approaches. 

Tamer has previously been actively involved in the NSW Women’s soccer program, and is an accredited physiotherapy provider for the NSW Institute of Sport. 

Tamer continues to provide expert opinion for recalcitrant spinal pain patients for fellow physiotherapists, medical specialists, self-insured corporations, third party insurers, rehabilitation providers, and medico-legal practitioners.

He will be honoured to work with you providing Specialist Physiotherapy either pre, or post surgery or a combination of both.

He works very closely with Dr Pope and has an intimate understanding of Neurosurgical and Orthopaedic Spine disorders and procedures, thereby providing a seamless, holistic service.
