Over the past 12 years, Bree has held the roles of NUM at the Northern Beaches Hospital and Team Leader, CNS, NUM and currently, Surgical Services Manager of the Nolan Operating Theatres at the Mater Hospital.
Her specialties include major orthopaedic and cardiothoracic instrument and circulating nursing experience.
In her Surgical Services Manager role, Bree leads the highly skilled nursing teams who work closely with Dr Raoul Pope in the Neurosurgical specialty. In this highly acute area, excellence in nursing care, proficiency and technique are essential parts of the nurse’s role in assisting Dr Pope to provide excellent clinical practice and the best outcomes for his patients.
Dr Raoul Pope is a highly experienced Neurosurgeon and sub-specialised Spine Surgeon with 20+ years of experience. He consults and operates across Sydney.
Dr Pope completed a sub-specialised, dedicated, international training fellowship in complex neurosurgical and orthopaedic spine surgery at a recognised, high-volume Centre of Excellence in spine surgery, in Canada.
He offers telehealth consultations and welcomes both private and public patients.
