Dr Mary-Anne Xia is an Australian trained doctor who graduated from the University of Queensland in 2010 and started Neurosurgical training in 2013. She has trained in Neurosurgery at numerous tertiary hospitals across Brisbane and Sydney and has a special interest in all aspects of spinal surgery.
She now works as a neurosurgical surgical assistant to Dr Pope, which provides him with a second skilled pair of hands during surgery, to maximise safety and efficiency.
