Rebecca is Dr Pope’s Practice Manager who oversees the optimal running of the main rooms in North Sydney and Burwood. She is a Registered Nurse who graduated in 1998 from the University of Western Sydney.
She then undertook positions at St George Hospital in Kogarah specialising in High Dependency Nursing (HDU) and later in her career, Intensive Care Nursing (ICU). She also held a position at Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick for a few years in ICU. Both hospitals are neurosurgical tertiary referral hospitals for the State of NSW, which in her role as a nurse exposed her to caring for a high volume of neurosurgical patients and learning their unique needs and challenges.
Rebecca then took on the role of Practice Manager. Her background in neurosurgical nursing has enabled her to build the practice to cater for the unique needs of our patients.
Rebecca then completed a Certificate IV in Professional Practice Management at the University of New England.
Outside her busy work commitments, she has an active interest in looking after her children, gardening, and her repeated attempts at home Feng Shui.
She ensures the practice is modern, efficient, and fully servicing the needs of Dr Pope’s patients.
Dr Raoul Pope is a highly experienced Neurosurgeon and sub-specialised Spine Surgeon with 20+ years of experience. He consults and operates across Sydney.
Dr Pope completed a sub-specialised, dedicated, international training fellowship in complex neurosurgical and orthopaedic spine surgery at a recognised, high-volume Centre of Excellence in spine surgery, in Canada.
He offers telehealth consultations and welcomes both private and public patients.
