Registered Nurse
Yumi is a registered nurse who has been working since 2010, and has extensive operating theatre nursing experience in both the public and private sector.
Prior to her current position, Yumi worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Neurosurgery at North Shore Private Hospital and as the Clinical Nurse Educator of Pod 2 (Neuro, ENT, Head & Neck, Ophthalmology) at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
Yumi is currently undertaking a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
Yumi is one of Dr Pope’s key, highly-skilled neurosurgical scrub and scout nurses. She works with Dr Pope regularly, to ensure repetition of neurosurgical spine surgery cases, in order to optimise surgical outcomes and achieve the best possible result for patients.

Dr Raoul Pope is a highly experienced Neurosurgeon and sub-specialised Spine Surgeon with 20+ years of experience. He consults and operates across Sydney.
Dr Pope completed a sub-specialised, dedicated, international training fellowship in complex neurosurgical and orthopaedic spine surgery at a recognised, high-volume Centre of Excellence in spine surgery, in Canada.
He offers telehealth consultations and welcomes both private and public patients.
